For Sale? 2BR 2Bath Condo in Kihei, Maui, Hawaii

The condo which I rented out will be vacant. The two Maui teachers who rented it for $1500 per month, are moving out soon. I am thinking of selling it rather than look for another tenant in the long term rental market.

The unit is located in the 2nd floor of the Haleakala Gardens complex and has vaulted, high ceilings and is a very unique find in the whole of Kihei. From the living room, you see the mountain view of the mighty Haleakala mountain and some beautiful landscaping of the Haleakala Gardens Condominium' clubhouse.

Last year, I had installed brand name window airconditioners in each room to ensure comfort to the 883 square feet of living area in addition to the natural Kihei breeze.

In December 2005, I replaced all the carpets in the entire unit with wooden pergo floors for easier maintenance and cleanliness. The kitchen was refurbished with new counter top, sink, faucets, and disposal. I also acquired and replaced the aging refrigerator and stove with quality name brand appliances. The dishwasher was also replaced with a new one from Sears and the ordinary hood fan was removed and replaced with a new microwave/fan combination leaving more countertop space for cooking preparations. Looking at all the new appliance replacements, we decided to, might as well, replace the linoleum floor with ceramic tiles. The whole kitchen looked so beautiful with its new look and brightness. Btw, the cabinet doors were also refaced at that time.

In the laundry closet right by the hallway, we replaced the aging stackable washing machine/dryer with a new one from Sears.

The bathrooms' floors were replaced with ceramic tiles, electrical lightings were replaced with contemporary fixtures and sinks were fitted with brass faucets.

You can walk and be in the beach in about 5 minutes from the unit to enjoy the Maui sunsets, stroll in barefeet on the sandy beach and breath some fresh, cool sea breeze from the Pacific Ocean.
